The Center of space constructions, Saguramo is a unique site where work on the creation of a space center in Georgia began back in 1980. The complex was created within the framework of the scientific and industrial program "Kometa" and represents a place where large-scale experiments were conducted to create and test various equipment for space exploration.
On the territory of the complex there is an administrative building with offices and laboratories, residential buildings for engineers, as well as several unique pavilions. One of them is cubic in shape and has a height of an impressive 40 meters. Another pavilion is circular in shape and has a diameter of 30 meters. The site also contains a swimming pool, which was used to simulate weightlessness and was demolished in the early 2000s. In addition, the site has a crane, observation booths and even a small vineyard.
Up until 2017, the site was under preservation, but in the same year it hosted the famous 4GB music festival.
