The concert of the legendary English pop-rock band Cutting Crew will take place in MonoHall. The band was founded in 1985 by musician Nick Van Eede and guitarist Kevin Scott McMichael. Nick Van Eede began his musical career in the late 1970s, recording several singles in England. Later, he became a member of the group The Drivers, which had great success in Canada. During one of The Drivers' tours, the band Fast Forward, where Kevin Scott McMichael played, opened for them. Impressed by the guitarist's playing, Nick suggested creating a new group, which led to the formation of Cutting Crew.
Cutting Crew became extremely popular in 1986 thanks to the hits "(I Just) Died in Your Arms" and "I've Been in Love Before".
