Justin Timberlake is coming to Tbilisi this summer!

Justin Timberlake began his rise to fame as a member of the iconic boy band NSYNC, where his charisma and vocal abilities immediately attracted the attention of millions. He was also a co-writer of songs and the youngest member of the project, as the future star was barely fourteen years old at the time. In the late 90s and early 2000s, the group dominated the charts, releasing hit after hit, and the members of the boy band became increasingly famous. However, as he grew older, Justin felt the need to express himself outside the boy band, which led to the beginning of his solo career.

In 2002, Timberlake presented the world with his debut solo album Justified, which demonstrated his musical maturity and craving for funk, soul and R&B. The work received critical acclaim and commercial success, strengthening his position as an independent artist. His 2006 album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, continued this trend by combining electronic elements with catchy melodies and became another triumph in his career.

Timberlake skillfully combines pop music with elements of funk, soul, R&B and electronica, creating a unique and recognizable sound. His vocals are flexible and emotional, and his lyrics often touch on the topics of love, relationships and introspection. For example, everyone knows Timberlake's lyrical song "Cry me a river", in which the singer sings about a broken heart and the unwillingness to remember the past. It was released in 2002 after the singer's breakup with Britney Spears.

Timberlake's style of music has evolved over time, but has always remained relevant and reflective of modern trends. He is not afraid to change and try something new, which allows him to stay on top of the music industry. Timberlake has had a significant influence on modern pop music, inspiring other artists with his boldness and innovative approach, and has even been called the "Prince of Pop".

In 2024, Justin Timberlake released his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was. The album marks a return to the singer's earlier sound, with a pop and R&B bent, and received mixed reviews from critics and listeners. Despite this, the work highlights his constant desire to evolve and explore new musical horizons, despite the fact that the artist's old tricks are well known to everyone. For example, the first two tracks, "Memphis" and "Fuckin' Up The Disco", feature decades-tested techniques of pitch shifting and automatic vocal tuning. The album also contains nostalgia for the 2000s, especially evident in the tracks "Memphis", dedicated to the artist's small homeland, and "Selfish", which opens the new collection. Halfway through the up-tempo, party-ready song “My Favorite Drug,” Timberlake switches to a colloquialism, a call to the ladies and lads that harks back to his early hit “Señorita.”

Tickets for Justin Timberlake’s concert at Boris Paichadze Dynamo Arena are still on sale, and you can buy them right now.
