Kasta will perform at Batumi Circus. The Rostov-based group has remained one of the leading names on the Russian rap scene for more than a quarter of a century, and this evening promises to be one of the winter season's most exciting musical events on the coast. This is not the first time Georgia has welcomed Kasta: the band has performed in Batumi in previous years.
The group members — Vladi, Shym, Khamil, and Zmey — were among those who brought Russian-language rap from the underground to the mainstream. Over the years, Kasta has released albums that have become genre classics, including Gromche Vody, Vyshe Travy, Skazka o Nastoyashchem, and Chetyryokhglavy Orёt. Even people who don't consider themselves rap fans know Kasta's lyrics by heart.
The setlist will feature hits such as “Vokrug Shum,” “Revolyubov,” and “Sochinyay Mechty,” as well as music from the band's latest releases. At Kasta's performances, the audience sings along with the group from the first song to the last. This atmosphere of live interaction is exactly what makes the band's concerts so special to their fans.
